Why go up to Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel (Fiesole)
Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel (Fiesole) is a hotel with a terrace in Florence, in the Fiesole area.
On the slope below Fiesole: fifteenth-century terraced gardens once tended by monks, a panoramic pool overlooking Florence and three restaurants, including the fine dining of Antesi. The hotel recalls that these hills were the testing ground for Leonardo's flying machines. Twenty minutes from the Duomo and a different city altogether.
