Umbria from above: Perugia, Assisi and Orvieto above the valleys

In Umbria the towns are viewpoints already: they sit on hilltops and look over the valleys. In Perugia you only need to reach the end of the corso; in Assisi it pays to climb to the fortress, where the crowd does not follow; in Orvieto you go up the clock tower to understand that the town is a slab of tufa.
