Why go up to Terrazza Panoramica del Vittoriano
Terrazza Panoramica del Vittoriano is a scenic viewpoint in Rome, in the Campidoglio & Piazza Venezia area.
The top terrace of the Vittoriano, the white monument on Piazza Venezia, is part of the VIVE museum with the Altare della Patria and Palazzo Venezia. From up there the Forums, the Colosseum, the domes and the hills are laid out in a full circle. The old Roman joke is true: it is the best view in town because the monument is under your feet.
