Why go up to Mura di Pisa — Camminamento in quota
Mura di Pisa — Camminamento in quota is a scenic viewpoint in Tuscany, in the Pisa area.
Pisa has opened the walkway on top of its medieval walls: eleven metres above the ground, by the site's own description, for looking at the city "from an unusual perspective". One of the access towers is at Piazza dei Miracoli, so the Leaning Tower and the cathedral appear from above and from the side, without the crowd.
