How it works
1. You write to us
The name and the city are enough. An official website and a couple of lines on why help us move faster.
2. We check
We check the address, hours and contacts against the venue's own sources. We do not publish ratings or details we cannot confirm.
3. We choose
RoofTop is a selection: a place gets in if it has a view, a terrace or a real reason to go up. Not every suggestion becomes a page.
What we look for
Places where you see the city from above, or from a spot worth the trip:
- rooftop bars and hotel terraces open to non-guests;
- restaurants and cocktail bars with a view;
- viewpoints, towers and public terraces, free ones included;
- places outside the centre, when they are worth the journey.
You can suggest a place in a city we already cover or in a new destination.
Do you own a venue?
Suggest it here and tick "I own this venue". With the official website, up-to-date hours and photos of yours that we may publish with your permission, the page starts out more complete.
If your venue is already on RoofTop and you want to correct a detail, use the same form and tell us what should change.
Frequently asked questions
- Does suggesting a place cost anything?
- No. Filling in the form is free and does not require an account.
- Will the place I suggest definitely be published?
- No. The editors review every suggestion and publish only the places they can verify and that fit the selection.
- Do I have to leave my email?
- No, it is optional. It is only needed if you would like a reply or if we may need to ask you for a detail.
- Can I report a mistake on an existing page?
- Yes. Enter the name of the place and, under "Why you recommend it", what is not correct.
