The Amalfi Coast from above: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello

The Amalfi Coast is a single road, cut into the rock between Positano and Vietri, with villages hanging above the sea. In Positano you drink on terraces suspended in front of the village; between Amalfi and Conca dei Marini two monasteries have become hotels with serious tables; in Ravello, high above, the gardens end on a balcony open to the void.
